Does the bed frame size match the mattress size? ​While our divan beds align exactly with the dimensions above, standard bed frames are naturally wider and longer than the mattress because the mattress sits inside the frame. We recommend allowing an extra 5cm to 10cm of clearance around the frame for a comfortable fit in your room.

​Will my mattress type affect the fit?
​Yes. Different mattress materials, such as memory foam, vary in "chunkiness" or density. Memory foam mattresses are often more compact, which may result in a very slight visible gap between the mattress edge and the frame. This is a normal design characteristic and does not affect the structural integrity of the bed.

​Do different bed styles have different footprints? Absolutely. Dimensions vary across our different bed styles. A sleek divan will have a much smaller footprint than a heavy-duty upholstered frame or a sleigh bed.
